If you have played Farming Simulator 15 and are now getting into Farming Simulator 17, you will need to know how the mods install, since it's a little different than FS15.
The mods basically install the same as FS15. You download a mod from your favorite modding site. There are many of these modding websites. I would recommend doing an internet search for "Farming Simulator 17 mods". Several websites will return in your search. About any of these will work.
Find a mod you want to use, download it. The mods usually come in a .zip file. This is what you want.
Next, locate the downloaded mod, copy it to the Farming Simulator 17 mods folder. This can usually be found on the PC at My Documents>My Games>Farming Simulator 17>Mods. (This may differ depending on how you installed the game and whether you are playing on Steam or not)
Once you have copied the .zip file to this Mods folder, you are ready to use it in game. This is where it is different than FS15.
The difference is you have to enable the mod. To do this, select your game save. Once the game save is selected, the next screen will appear with a list of the mods you have installed. To use them in the game, you have to click on the mod and click "Select" at the bottom of the screen.
A green check mark will appear in the circle on the right. This means the mod will be used in game.
Start your game save and that's all there is.

Farming Simulator 17 Forestry!
Well, we have started logging on Farming Simulator 17! To see the series, click here.
We just started a new map made by FDR Logging called Pacific Inlet. Also new to the start of this new map, we will be counting the loads we sell at the sawmill. As of this writing, we are up to 4 loads...this map has HUNDREDS of loads, most likely.
Here is the first video in the series with the new map, Pacific Inlet by FDR Logging.

Welcome to NLA Gaming!!
Hello everybody! Welcome to NLA Gaming! This is a blog about the video games we play. We have a Facebook page, Twitter, and a YouTube channel. On this blog, we will talk about Farming Simulator 15, Farming Simulator 17, Forza Motorsport 6, Forza Horizon 3, American Truck Simulator, and many more video games.
So if you play any of those games, we want to talk about them! In the meantime, check out our YouTube channel. Right now we are posting videos of Forestry on Farming Simulator 15. We started a small logging operation by selling the equipment that was given to us at the start of a new gamesave on the Bjornholm map. We will be harvesting trees, planting trees, selling wood chips, and harvesting grass. Want to see how big we can grow our operation? Follow along on YouTube.
